Give me a quote on winterization of my H41DS at CYC W37. Give answer to Donohue only

We do not have fixed pricing on winterizing boats, we typically do these jobs on time and material basis at the rate of $ 95.00 per hour plus supplies. Depending on your needs and boat systems, which can be very different, you could spend a minimum of 2 hours to however long it takes to get the boat properly winterized.

How much is the stainless steel fish tank assembly?

I am not sure how to answer your question whomever you are.Fish tanks are usually not made of stainless. Are you meaning a support frame made of stainless to carry an aquarium? If yes, what size, shape, how many gallons etc...? We have no set prices anyway, the vast majority of our work is custom made! To anyone asking questions in the future, please be concise when inquiring about any topics. Thank you, John@ESR

I have a seafarer 26 that is missing the mast head cap (the piece that is welded to the top of the mast). Where can I find this part and who can weld it for me?

The masthead,as it is commonly called, could be stainless or aluminum (more likely) and you will have a hard time finding one just because these parts are so specific to each type of mast.Your best bet is tolook for a broken mast in boatyards or at some boat used hardware market such as Bacon in Annapolis. Any fabrication shop should be able to weld it for you and if you can't find one, the same shop should be able to fabricate one. We should be able to help you out depending on where you are located.

Totally unrelated to rigging: I noticed a painting hanging in your shop. It looks like a Grand Dame in evening wear. Is she the matriarch of your shop? Is she a good luck charm? Just curious, thanks.

Yes, indeed she is all of the above.A classy pin up for a change and a worthy departure from your regular Snap-On wall calendar!

Can you give me an estimate to inspect and repair the mast of a 1997 Saga 43? Lots of corrosion (bubbling under paint) in many spots on mast and boom. Rod rigging is original.

I would be glad to do soafter I seehow badly corroded your spar is at the momment. By the way,I am not surprised at all, I used to commission all Saga Yachts in the Annapolis area!

I have a deck which I would like to consider using your railing system. All vertical base supports must be fascias mounted. Is this possible with your system?

I am sureit is possible, I would need to see what the deck looks like to anchor the bases. But we do not have a ready made system, all our work is custom made.

Do you have instructions for mounting to a double walled hardtop? Have you mounted one to a 2007 Bayliner Discovery hardtop?

I am sorry, we have never done such work.

On the architectural rigging. How resistant will to be to surface rust and is there any finish that can be applied to it.

I am not sure I understand your question exactly, but if the project is done in polished stainless, there is no need to apply a finish to it. Just a simple yearly maintenance with any type of chrome or stainless compound will do. If any other material non-stainless are used then it is obvious that a finish will be required depending on what type of material is being used.
